New HIV PrEP podcast launches

The Other Blue Pill podcast is out!

The first episode of our newest podcast The Other Blue Pill launches today.

The Other Blue Pill is the phenomenal story of the battle for access to HIV prevention drugs in the UK, told in six parts by the health professionals, activists, and researchers who fought for it alongside stories from the PrEP generation.

Phil Samba, the podcast host says:

“There are so many people taking PrEP in England but so many of those PrEP users have no idea how we even got it to be available on the NHS for free. I think it’s imperative to highlight the incredible work that was done by National AIDS Trust especially and I’m so honoured that I get to help tell that story. The fight to get PrEP on the NHS is steeped in a long history of queer activism resisting health inequalities and to know where we can go in the future we must learn from our past.”

The Other Blue Pill is a limited documentary series by The Love Tank and QueerAF, supported by the National AIDS Trust. It’s hosted by Phil Samba and produced by Jamie Wareham.
